Lighter traffic volumes and mainly precipitation that has not frozen on mainline highways have made for a better than expected morning commute.

But we do have some congested spots:

Travel time on westbound Crosstown from 28th Avenue to Hwy. 100 is up to 24 minutes.

Westbound 94 is 17 minutes between downtown St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Northbound Hwy. 169 is 22 minutes from Canterbury Road to 494.  Southbound is 18 minutes from 394 down to 94.

Look for a crash on the right shoulder on the ramp from northbound 94 to westbound 94/694 in Brooklyn Center. A gwaker slow down is in place on the eastbound side.

Hwy. 100 is a bit sluggish in spots from 94 down to 394, and northbound from Crosstown to 27th Street in St. Louis Park.

Westbound 494 is looking decent, with 12 to 15 minutes from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100.
