A 16-year-old girl was killed Friday morning when the pickup truck she was driving crashed head-on into another vehicle on a Yellow Medicine County highway near Montevideo, Minn.
Meagan Siemieniewski, of Sacred Heart, Minn., was southbound on Hwy. 212 at about 11:30 a.m. when her pickup and a vehicle pulling an oversized load going north collided, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The other driver, a 57-year-old man from Elk River, suffered minor injuries.
Siemieniewski wasn't wearing a seatbelt, according to the State Patrol.
