Gophers at a glance: Minnesota (16-11, 5-8 Big Ten) is coming off an emotional road victory at Ohio State on Thursday night. Down five, the Buckeyes sank two threes to take a 56-55 lead with 13 seconds to play. Rachel Banham ran the floor and drained a jump shot with 0.4 seconds left to lift her team to just the second victory at Ohio State in program history and the first season sweep ever of the Buckeyes. Banham and Micaella Riche each scored 17 points. Minnesota remains second in the Big Ten with a .421 field goal percentage but is in eighth place in the standings. Banham's average of 21.2 points per game is second best in the conference.

Purdue at a glance: Despite being ranked No. 22 in the nation, the Boilermakers (19-7, 8-5) arrive in Minneapolis having lost four of their last five games, including 62-61 at last-place Indiana on Wednesday. Courtney Moses, Drey Mingo and KK Houser are all averaging in double figures in scoring. Sam Ostarello is averaging 9.6 points and 10 rebounds per game. Purdue is averaging 40.7 rebounds per game, second most in the Big Ten. The Boilermakers have beaten Minnesota eight out of the past nine times.
