Metro Transit officials are saying mechanical issues have delayed the Northstar Commuter line's second run into Minneapolis.
The second run is now 50 minutes late and the third run will be 20 minutes behind schedule.
A spokesman said the two trains will be coupled together at the Elk River station and make one trip to downtown. Word is the train is to be mvoing shortly.
The agency is using message boards and making announcements for customers at stations.
