Winter is a good time to plan your spring garden. Local experts will give tips and techniques during a variety of gardening and landscaping seminars at the Home and Patio Show, Thursday through Sunday at St. Paul RiverCentre. Topics include plants that thrive in shady spaces, straw-bale gardening, deer-resistant plants, growing organic food, creative containers, best picks for northern gardens and emerald ash borer management.
