Never cry, wolf

If you thought the characters in “Ice Age” had it tough, wait until you meet the real-life creatures in “Cold Warriors: Wolves and Buffalo” (7 p.m., KTCA), the latest offering from “Nature.” Filmmakers capture captivating footage of the never-ending hunt in northern Alberta’s Wood Buffalo National Park.

Where in the world

Even geography wizards may have had a hard time finding Caramoan before the premiere of “Survivor: Caramoan: Fans Vs. Favorites” (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4). The Philippine region hosts 10 previous competitors, plus 10 fanatics, including a Jimmy John’s owner who named her son after former runner-up Colby Donaldson.

Jackman of all trades

Hard to say where James Lipton will focus his attention when Hugh Jackman sits down for “Inside the Actors Studio” (7 p.m., Bravo), but it’s safe to assume they’ll be talking more about “Les Misérables” than “Van Helsing.”
