Gophers at a glance: After appearing to break out of their Big Ten slump with a home victory over Michigan last Thursday, the Gophers lost at Nebraska on Sunday by 24 points. The Gophers committed 19 turnovers and fell to 3-6 in conference play. Rachel Banham cooled off at Nebraska, scoring 12 points after putting up 37- and 32-point performances last week. She still leads the team, averaging 21.1 points per game; Minnesota is third in Big Ten offense but 11th in average points allowed.

Iowa at a glance: On a two-game losing streak, the Hawkeyes are hovering in the middle of the Big Ten with a 5-4 record. Sophomore Bethany Doolittle, a Hill-Murray graduate, leads the team with 48 blocks while averaging 7.6 points per game. Theairra Taylor, a St. Paul Central graduate, also starts for Iowa. Morgan Johnson leads the Hawkeyes with 15 points per game and Jaime Printy averages 14.1. Samantha Logic is leading the Big Ten with 6.8 assists per game.
