Moving up

Carlson, Minnetonka, named Cindy Rodahl executive vice president of human resources and communications. Rodahl was the interim head since October 2012. Her previous experience includes working for Pillsbury, BUCA Inc., Transport Corp. of America and as a founding partner of Tevera Consulting.

Quadion, Plymouth, named Steve Paskach vice president of business development. Paskach has been with Quadion's subsidiary, Minnesota Rubber and Plastics, for 21 years in management positions and before that was Tonka Toys' director of sales administration.

LifeScience Alley, St. Louis Park, named Shaye Mandle executive vice president and chief operating officer. Mandle was vice president of government and affiliate relations.

On the move

MOCON, Brooklyn Park, named Don DeMorett chief operating officer. DeMorett has been a member of the board since 2006 and is a graduate of St. Cloud State University.

Charter Solutions, Plymouth, named Trent Seashore vice president of analytics and information management systems. Seashore previously was a director for Ceridian Corp. and has worked for UnitedHealth Group, GMAC ResCap, Prime Therapeutics and Express Scripts Inc.

Anchor Bank, Wayzata, named Merri Schreiber vice president of business banking. Schreiber joined Anchor in 2003 and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.

Knutson Construction, Golden Valley, named Richard Bates director of virtual construction. Bates has 35 years of experience in design and construction and most recently was director of virtual building for Ryan Cos.

Dougherty Funding, Minneapolis, named Douglas Vitek senior vice president. Vitek previously was a managing director for GE Capital and has more than 25 years of experience in commercial finance.
