Late Thursday, the Minnesota Revenue Department released a two-page list of what would be newly taxed under Gov. Mark Dayton's plan.

The governor's proposal would cut the current sales tax from 6.875 to 5.5 percent but extend it to all sorts of new items and services. Importantly, the plan would charge sales taxes on business-to-business services, which would bring in billions to the state coffers.

Here's a list of things that would remain exempt and here's a list of currently taxed items that would see lower taxes.
