Now that President Obama has been inaugurated for a second term, he says he'll focus on immigration reform. One aspect that needs public scrutiny is the fact that the Affordable Care Act benefits legal immigrants, but excludes undocumented immigrants.
If an immigration reform plan is passed, millions of undocumented immigrants living on American soil may be entitled to an expensive health insurance program. The American people deserve to know what that cost would be and how it would be funded before any legislation that allows legalization is passed.
