In what he says will be the last fight of his career, Matt Vanda of St. Paul (44-14) will face Caleb Truax of Osseo (20-1-1) in a 10-round middleweight bout Saturday at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Vanda began his pro career in 1996 and won his first 31 fights, becoming one of the most popular and colorful boxers in the Twin Cities.

The 7 p.m. card also includes an eight-round middleweight bout between Charles Meier of Coon Rapids (6-2-2) and Travis Perzynski of Stillwater (3-2) and a six-round welterweight bout between Mohammed Kayongo of Minneapolis (15-2) and Gilbert Venagas of East Moline, Ill.
