Mairs and Power, St. Paul, named Jon Theobald chief executive. Theobald previously was president and chief operating officer and joined the investment advisory firm in 2002. Mairs and Power also named Mark Henneman executive vice president. Henneman previously was vice president.

Rise, Spring Lake Park, named Lynn Noren president. Noren has more than 30 years of experience working for Rise and most recently was vice president and chief operating officer. She is chairwoman of the Governmental Affairs Committee of the Minnesota Habilitation Coalition and a member of the Minnesota Department of Human Services expert partner panel.

On the move

JE Dunn Construction named Bill Igel vice president. Igel previously was with Mortenson Construction for 17 years and is a graduate of Marquette University.

Carmichael Lynch, Minneapolis, named Marty Senn executive creative director. Senn previously was creative director for San Francisco's Goodby Silverstein and Partners and before that he worked for Fallon Worldwide.

Ability Network, Minneapolis, named Jonathan Sherman executive vice president of strategic initiatives. Sherman has more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry. He was a founding member of the executive team at Phreesia and also worked for Silverlink, NaviNet, Alex, Brown & Sons and Goldman Sachs.

Northern Oil and Gas, Wayzata, named Brandon Elliott executive vice president of corporate development and strategy. Elliott previously worked for Consol Energy leading investor relations and Friess Associates as a portfolio manager and research analyst. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and a member of the National Investor Relations Institute.

Awards

Biofuels Digest named Fredrikson & Byron attorney Todd Taylor to their Top 100 People in Bioenergy for the third consecutive year. Taylor recently was named 2013 vice chairman of the board for University Enterprise Labs, a collaborative research center.
