Reid Travis' game-high 29 points and 15 rebounds weren't enough to stop Kansas' state runner-up Saturday, as DeLaSalle (5-1) fell to Blue Valley Northwest 57-52.
The loss is DeLaSalle's first of the season, and the victory was No. 500 for Blue Valley Northwest coach Ed Fritz. Three Huskies scored in double figures, led by Clayton Custer's 26.
Onalaska (Wis.) 77, Lakeview Christian 62: Minnesota all-time scoring leader Anders Broman scored 26 points but was outdone by Onalaska's Matt Thomas, who had 43 points and 14 rebounds.
Thomas' 43 points are the second-most scored in Timberwolves Shootout history, eclipsing current Timberwolf Kevin Love's 41 points in 2007.
Valley (Iowa) 69, Roseville 53: The Raiders completed the losing sweep for Minnesota high schools. Roseville trailed by two points with three minutes left, but Valley, of West Des Moines, pulled away behind Peter Jok's 34 points, leaving the three local teams playing out-of-state teams winless. Logan Brown led Roseville with 20 points.
