Omaha routs CC• NEBRASKA OMAHA 8, COLORADO COLLEGE 4: Josh Archibald of Brainerd had a hat trick and Ryan Walters of Rosemount an unassisted goal and three assists as the Mavericks (12-8-1, 8-4-1) routed the visiting Tigers (8-11-2, 5-7-1) on Friday to move into a three-way tie for second place in the WCHA. Defenseman Mike Boivin had a hat trick for CC.

• NORTH DAKOTA 5, HOLY CROSS 2: Center Corban Knight had two goals and two assists as UND (11-5-3) beat the Crusaders (10-5-2) at home. Knight was the national player of the month in December.

• MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 4, PROVIDENCE 3 (OT): Chase Grant scored his sixth goal of the season for the Mavericks at 2:26 of overtime. MSU (13-6-2) has won 10 of its past 11 games.

• NORTHERN MICHIGAN 6, ST. CLOUD STATE 2: The Wildcats (7-10-3) routed the WCHA-leading Huskies (12-9-0) at home.

• WESTERN MICHIGAN 6, BEMIDJI STATE 0: Frank Slubowski stopped 15 shots as the Broncos (12-5-2) beat the Beavers (5-11-3) on their ice.

• DENVER 5, CORNELL 1: Quentin Shore scored two goals to lead the Pioneers (11-6-3).
