Hail, Cesar!

"The Dog Whisperer" may have been silenced, but Cesar Millan is still yakking it up. In "Leader of the Pack" (9 p.m. Saturday, NGW), Millan takes on the issue of canine abandonment around the world, which means he's going to have to learn to whisper in a whole bunch of different languages.

Playing politics

"Mr. Cao Goes to Washington" (10 p.m. Saturday, TPT Life) is not officially a sequel to the Jimmy Stewart classic, but it might as well be. The documentary tells the story of Joseph Cao, a Vietnamese-American Republican centrist who is elected to Congress from a mostly African-American district in Louisiana. The idealistic novice gets a less-than-hospitable welcome.

Swamp people

"Gator Boys" (8 p.m. Sunday, Animal Planet) move from Florida to Mississippi, continuing their campaign to save alligators -- but only after wrestling and mercilessly teasing them. With friends like that, who needs enemies?
