SCHUBERT CLUB Tuesday: Often, when a singer or string player headlines a recital, the pianist gets relegated to near-invisible "accompanist" status. That should not be the case when cellist Alisa Weilerstein performs with pianist Inon Barnatan in the Schubert Club's International Artist series. Weilerstein won praise for her 2012 recording of the concertos of Elgar (in E Minor) and Elliott Carter, but it was Barnatan who grabbed our attention in 2012 with "Darkness Visible," his remarkable night-themed CD. The two of them on the same stage, playing music of Beethoven, Barber, Stravinsky and Rachmaninoff, should make for a powerful musical evening. (7:30 p.m. Tue. $25-$60. Ordway Center, 5th and Washington Sts., St. Paul. 651-292-3268 or www.schubert.org.)
