The 3M Foundation has provided a $325,000 grant to the Stillwater Area Public Schools to help fund their STEM initiative, the district announced recently. The grant will be used for curriculum and other materials at the elementary and secondary schools.

"We are grateful for our community partners who are stepping up to support our students and provide them with hands-on learning experiences that will help prepare them for their future," Superintendent Corey Lunn said in a statement.

Last year, 3M provided $125,000 to help start the initiative.
