The Big Ten sent seven teams to bowl games and finished with a 2-5 record. A look at the results:
Rose: Stanford 20, Wisconsin 14

BIG TEN BOWL STARS
Devin Gardner, Michigan
The junior passed for 214 yards and three TDs with one interception as the Wolverines lost 33-28 to South Carolina in the Outback Bowl.
Le'Veon Bell, Michigan State
He rallied the Spartans from a 13-0 deficit to 17-16 victory over TCU in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl by rushing 32 times for 145 yards and a TD.
The junior helped Michigan stay close to South Carolina, catching nine passes for 145 yards and two touchdowns.
BY THE NUMBERS
Career touchdowns for Wisconsin's senior running back Montee Ball, an NCAA record.
Interceptions by Northwestern against Mississippi State quarterback Tyler Russell in the Gator Bowl. Russell had thrown only six interceptions in his first 11 games this season.
Yards surrendered by Purdue in its 58-14 loss to Oklahoma State in the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
Yards of total offense for Michigan senior quarterback/running back Denard Robinson in his Wolverines career. He finished with 49 touchdown passes and 42 TD runs.
