How dry I am

Competitors on "Survivor" are spoiled brats compared with gung-ho adventurers Cody Lundin and Joe Teti, who take on the elements in Chile's Atacama Desert, the driest place on Earth, in the season premiere of "Dual Survival" (8 p.m., Discovery). Let's hope they remembered to pack plenty of bottled water.

Tradition!

Mel Brooks and Stephen Sondheim are among the heavy hitters looking back at "Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy" (8:30 p.m., KTCA, Ch. 2), a telling documentary with generous clips from "Wicked," "Gypsy" and, naturally, "Fiddler on the Roof."

Extreme makeover

Lindsay Lohan's personal life may be a mess, but her home is in tip-top shape thanks to interior designer Kathryn Ireland, who is brave enough to enter the troubled star's abode in the Hollywood Hills in a new episode of "Million Dollar Decorators" (9 p.m., Bravo).
