Catch me if you can

The 40th anniversary of Steelers fullback Franco Harris' "immaculate reception" is marked by a special edition of "Costas Uncut" (7:30 p.m., NBC Sports). The sound you hear when this show airs is of thousands of Oakland Raiders fans throwing their shoes at their TV screens.

Whole lotta love

Watching "The 35th Annual Kennedy Center Honors" (8 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) is as much a holiday tradition in my family as opening presents and arguing about politics. Buddy Guy, David Letterman, Led Zeppelin, Dustin Hoffman and ballerina Natalia Makarova are feted in what's always a classy night.

It's not exactly a Beatles reunion, but Fred Willard and Georgia Engel -- so delightful together as Robert's in-laws on "Everybody Loves Raymond" -- both make appearances on the veteran-friendly sitcom "Hot in Cleveland" (9 p.m., TV Land). Also stopping by: Eddie Cibrian, aka Mr. LeAnn Rimes.
