It truly was a game-time decision, but Nikola Pekovic has decided here 30 minutes before game time that he will play tonight in Miami.

He was treated before the game for a sore back that bothered him last night in Orlando and he said he still didn't know if he could play when he went on the court to test it 75 minutes before the game.

He will start at center against the Heat's Chris Bosh.

Kevin Love also will play.

He hyper-extended his arm in last night's loss at Orlando and hurt his shoulder. But at this point he seems resigned to living with injuries.

"I guess I should be expecting something every game," he said.

And just for the record: Ricky Rubio is not playing tonight, as part of the team's plan not to play him in the second game of back-to-back situations.

Rubio yesterday left the door open ever so slightly, saying he'd see how he felt after Monday's game.

But Wolves coach Rick Adelman said before tonight's game that he went to Rubio and quickly quashed any idea of him playing tonight when reporters told Adelman that Rubio appeared to have left the door open slightly to play.
