Minn. St., Mankato beats Nebraska-Omaha 6-3

OMAHA, Neb. - Johnny McInnis had two goals and Teddy Blueger had three assists to lead Minnesota State, Mankato to a 6-3 Western Collegiate Hockey Association win over Nebraska-Omaha on Friday.

Twelve different players scored points for the Mavericks (10-5-2, 8-5-0), who have won seven straight games. MSUM can sweep their fourth straight series with a win on Saturday.

Bryce Gervais, J.P. Lafontaine, Jon Jutzi and Dylan Margonari scored for MSUM, which got 25 saves from Stephon Williams.

Zaun Raubenheimer scored on the power play for UNO (10-6-1, 6-4-1) to tie the game 2-2 at 8:26 of the second. But MSUM scored four of the next five goals to pull away.

UNO got 21 saves from John Faulkner and Anthony Stolarz.
