Chart: A look ahead to next week's game against St. Louis
- December 9, 2012 - 11:51 PM
NEXT OPPONENT:
ST. LOUIS (6-6-1)
A game that looked like a dud when the schedule came out now has playoff implications. Namely, the loser of this meeting is very unlikely to make the playoffs.
RAMS WEEK 14
St. Louis 15, Buffalo 12
The Rams picked up a road victory when Sam Bradford capped a 14-play, 84-yard drive with a 13-yard pass to Brandon Gibson with 48 seconds left. The Rams have won three in a row.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
Sam Bradford, QB
The former Heisman Trophy winner from Oklahoma has undergone Christian Ponder-like criticism at times in St. Louis. The No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 draft is 19th in the league in passing yardage.
OUTLOOK
The Vikings have only one road victory this season, but playing in a dome might seem like home cooking. And Bradford might find himself under a lot of pressure. Outlook: Horns up
