Theft. A ring valued at $16,000 was stolen from a vehicle on the 2900 block of Corporate Place.

NOV. 12

Theft. Tools were stolen from four trucks on the 7600 block of Parklawn Avenue.

Burglary. Jewelry was stolen from a home on the 6600 block of Normandale Road.

Theft. A wallet was stolen from a purse at JoAnn Fabrics, 3411 Hazelton Road.

Theft. A 14-year-old boy was arrested for shoplifting at J.C. Penney in Southdale Center.

INDEPENDENCE

NOV. 2

Civil matter. A 36-year-old man called police to say that his grandmother wouldn't let him hunt on her property in the 8100 block of County Road 11. He wanted to know if he could still hunt there. Authorities told him that if grandmother said no, then he cannot hunt there.

NOV. 9

Check welfare. Officers responded to a home on the 5100 block of Fern Drive regarding a 911 hangup call. The property owner allowed the children to play with old cellphones and did not realize that 911 would still work on a phone without service.

NOV. 6

Theft. Clothing, shoes and purses were stolen from a home on Halstead Drive.

NOV. 8

Animal complaint. Loose cows were reported on Hilltop Drive. The owner retrieved them.

NOV. 5

Drugs. An 18-year-old male student was cited for possession of marijuana following a canine search at Mound Westonka High School, 5905 Sunnyfield Road W.

PLYMOUTH

NOV. 2

Disorderly conduct. Two 12-year-old boys were cited for disorderly conduct after getting into an altercation while walking home from school on Lancaster Lane and 36th Avenue.

NOV. 3

Theft. Someone was stealing cans of pop from a resident on the 3400 block of E. Medicine Lake Boulevard.

Theft. A fire pit valued at $100 was stolen from the yard of a home on the 17700 block of 26th Avenue N.

NOV. 5

Theft. Nine propane tanks were stolen on the 14000 block of 23rd Avenue N.

RICHFIELD

NOV. 15

Disorderly conduct. Three juveniles were cited for disorderly conduct for fighting in the parking lot at St. Richard's Catholic Church, 7540 Penn Av. S.

NOV. 16

Theft. Two air-conditioning units containing copper and other metals were stolen from New Perspectives, 6425 Penn Av. S. Each was valued at $10,000.

NOV. 17

Drugs. A 25-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for possession of a large amount of crack cocaine and cash following a stop for a traffic violation on E. 67th Street and Cedar Avenue.

NOV. 18

Drunken driving. A 25-year-old Richfield man was arrested for drunken driving after hitting a house with his vehicle on the 690 block of 16th Avenue S. Hit-and-run charges are pending.

SHOREWOOD

NOV. 8

Suspicious person. Officers responded to the 25300 block of Birch Bluff Road regarding a possible prowler. Officers found the culprit: A dog with a small flashlight attached to its collar.
