Up north: UMD edges Bemidji St.

MINNESOTA-DULUTH 4, BEMIDJI STATE 2: Jake Hendrickson's goal early in the third period, his second of the game, put host UMD ahead for good as the Bulldogs (5-7-3 overall, 3-5-3 WCHA) downed the Beavers (3-8-2, 2-7-2).

NEBRASKA OMAHA 6, ST. CLOUD STATE 5: Ryan Walters had two goals and two assists to help the visiting Mavericks (10-4-1, 6-2-1) hold off Huskies (8-7-0, 6-5-0). David Morley had a hat trick for the hosts.

MICHIGAN TECH 1, WISCONSIN 1: Jake Tyler Barnes' goal at 16:49 of the third period salvaged a tie for the host Badgers (2-7-4, 2-5-4) against the Huskies (4-8-2, 3-6-2).

• MINNESOTA STATE MANKATO 3, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 1: The Mavericks defense allowed only 21 shots on goal and Stephon Williams stopped all but one to lead the hosts (8-5-2, 6-5-0) over the Seawolves (3-6-4, 1-5-3).

NORTH DAKOTA 2, DENVER 2: Corbin Knight's power-play goal tied the game for the host Sioux ( 7-5-3, 4-2-3) against the first-place Pioneers (9-4-2 , 7-2-2).
