Rockets TV analyst Matt Bullard said Tuesday night that Royce White's comments about his decision to leave the team for now "shows that he does have, you know, a mental illness, because a lot of the things he's saying don't really match up with the reality as I see it as I'm around the Rockets every day."
White, the former Hopkins High star, whose Twitter handle is @Highway_30, responded to Bullard's video:
This morning, the Rockets blog on the Houston Chronicle web site reported: "The gulf between the Rockets and rookie Royce White has continued to escalate. With White blaming the Rockets for failing to consistently support his treatment for anxiety issues, White is being fined every day he remains away from the team or fails to attend sessions with a therapist the Rockets have arranged for him, a person with knowledge of the situation said."

The blog reports that both White and Houston's general manager, Daryl Morey, are declining interview requests.
But White has maintained an active Twitter presence.
Tweeting is a means of media, just like those who have provided misinformation about the situation... "We're the media now." #TwitterForGood— Royce White (@Highway_30) November 14, 2012
White's Twitter feed has attracted no shortage of advocates and detractors. in the former group is Gophers forward Trevor Mbakwe, who is no stranger to social media and media criticism.
Mbakwe responded to a critic by tweeting to White: "@Highway_30 never going to please everyone. Just keep doing what you been doing and being a role model for ppl with Anxiety. U have brought a lot of ppl new life by standing up do what you believe in."
This isn't likely to end soon.
