A husband and wife were killed Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on a wet northern Minnesota highway, authorities said Sunday. Neither was wearing a seat belt.

The crash occurred Saturday about 9 miles south of Northhome shortly before midnight on Hwy. 46, just north of Itasca County Road 29, according to the State Patrol.

Killed were the driver, Joy L. Wilson, 54, of Grand Rapids, and her husband, Donald G. Wilson, 56, the patrol said.

The couple's car was northbound on Hwy. 46 when it went off of the right side of the road, went airborne and rolled over.
