Mistral Raymond's return to action will have to wait another week -- at least. The second-year safety has been declared inactive for today's game against the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field. This will be the sixth consecutive game Raymond will miss after dislocating his right ankle in a Sept. 23 win over San Francisco.

In the middle of last week, Vikings coach Leslie Frazier and defensive coordinator Alan Williams both said there was a chance Raymond would return to action this week. And Raymond expressed his own eagerness about getting back on the field. But the Vikings are clearly not yet fully comfortable with the way Raymond is moving and cutting on his ankle.

Other players inactive for the Vikings today are tight end John Carlson, receivers Jarius Wright and Stephen Burton, linebacker Audie Cole, quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson and offensive lineman Mark Asper.

Raymond could get a chance to return next week when the Vikings host Detroit. But with a Week 11 bye to follow, the Vikings could take the conservative route and hold off on clearing Raymond until their Nov. 25 game in Chicago.
