Guthrie announces new program to snag young audience members

The Guthrie Theater has announced a new ticket-buying program to encourage youngsters to see its shows.

The “30 Below” effort will offer audience members who are 30 and under tickets as low as $15 apiece. Qualified patrons can buy up to four tickets, which are subject to availability on the day of the show.

The theater is on the last leg of its Christopher Hampton festival. Both "Tales from Hollywood" and "Embers" have closed. Hampton's "Appomattox" (pictured above) goes through Nov. 10.
