Stratasys beats Wall Street estimates with solid third quarter

Eden-Prairie based Stratasys Inc. reported third quarter results Friday that beat the expectations of Wall Street analysts.
The maker of 3-dimensional printers saw revenues rise 24 percent to $49.7 million as shipments picked up during the quarter.
Excluding integration costs associated with Objet Ltd., earnings rose 40 percent to $8.7 million or 40 cents a share, beating analysts estimates by three cents. Including special items, earnings fell 13 percent to $5.2 million or 24 cents a share.
