After taking on all those ridiculous contracts, the Dodgers would like to shed one

Maybe the money isn't endless in Los Angeles. The Dodgers, who committed more than a quarter billion dollars in a questionable deal to get Adrian Gonzalez, Josh Beckett, Carl Crawford (and Nick Punto) from the Red Sox, are now apparently trying to get out from under the 5-year, $85 million contract of Andre Ethier, a nice player who should be making about two-thirds of what he makes.

Good luck with that, Los Angeles.
