NSIC: Bemidji State tops St. Cloud as Rongstad rushes for 3 TDs

Lance Rongstad rushed for three touchdowns and passed for another in leading Bemidji State to a 37-20 victory Saturday over St. Cloud State in St. Cloud.
Rongstad rushed for 115 yards and passed for 226 yards as the Beavers (5-4, 4-1 NSIC North) rolled to 453 yards in offense. The Beavers controlled the ball with 40:52 in time of possession.
Phillip Klaphake passed for 256 yards and three TDs (all three to Eli Shoemaker) for the Huskies (5-4, 3-2).

Augustana 35, Concordia (St. Paul) 27: Josh Hansen's four touchdown passes helped the Vikings outlast the host Golden Bears.
James Peterson passed for 266 yards and three TDs, and Tom Obarski kicked a school-record 59-yard field goal for the Golden Bears (2-7, 1-4).
Minn. Duluth 38, Minn.-Crookston 14: The Bulldogs, ranked No. 8 in Division II, built a 31-0 halftime lead in the victory in Crookston.
MSU Mankato 42, Wayne State 35: The Mavericks, ranked No. 2 in Division II, outlasted the host Wildcats to remain unbeaten. Jon Wolf passed for two TDs and ran for another for the Mavericks (9-0, 5-0 NSIC North).
Minot State 31, MSU Moorhead 10: Randel Barber rushed for two touchdowns, leading the visiting Beavers past the Dragons.
Winona State 47, SW Minnesota State 20: John Teigland threw four TD passes and Rayon Simmons rushed for 119 yards and a TD as the host Warriors pulled away in the second half for the victory. The Warriors led 14-7 at halftime.UMAC
Martin Luther 30, MacMurray 27: Matthew Olson rushed for 204 yards to help the Knights hold on for the victory in Jacksonville, Ill.
Minn.-Morris 30, Crown 29 (OT): Leandro Dower's 1-yard TD run and Cameron Adel's point-after kick in the second overtime lifted the visiting Cougars to victory. Dower's 1-yard TD run and Adel's PAT with 1:45 remaining in the fourth quarter tied the game.
Northwestern (Roseville) 21, Eureka 17: Josh Sinnen rushed for 115 yards and a touchdown to help the Eagles (8-1, 7-0 UMAC) earn the road victory in Eureka, Ill. Sinnen's 11-yard TD run in the third quarter gave the Eagles a 20-10 lead.WIAC
Wisconsin-Oshkosh 41, Wis.-La Crosse 7: Nata Wara passed for 309 yards and four TDs to lead the Titans, ranked No. 6 in the d3football.com poll, past the host Eagles.
Wis.-River Falls 24, Wis.-Stout 14: Ryank Kusilek threw two TD passes to lead the visiting Falcons to the victory in Menomonie, Wis.
Wis.-Stevens Point 17, Wis.-Whitewater 14: The host Pointers blocked the Warhawks' 47-yard game-tying field-goal attempt with just over one minute remaining and held on for the victory. The Warhawks suffered back-to-back losses for the first time since 2001.Upper Midwest
Macalester 41, Mayville State 14: The Scots outscored the host Comets 20-0 in the second half to pull away for the victory. Clark Bledsoe threw three touchdown passes for the Scots (5-3), who outgained the Comets 420-158.
St. Scholastica 20, Presentation 17 (OT): Mike Theismann kicked a 25-yard field goal in overtime to lift the Saints to a victory in Aberdeen, S.D.
