Minnesota farmers are too stoic and polite to issue an official na-nah-nah-boo-boo. But with drought conditions ravaging Iowa, Nebraska, Illinois and Indiana, prices for what could be record yields of corns and sugarbeets are spelling nice profits for Minnesota farmers.
Said Scott Johnson from his corn and soybean fields in southwestern MInnesota: "It went better than we thought it would -- by a long ways -- that's for sure."
