A car towing a pickup truck north of the Twin Cities crossed into the opposite lane, striking a motorcycle head-on and killing its rider, authorities said Wednesday.
The crash occurred shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday just south of Hwy. 95 on Hwy. 47 in Isanti County, about halfway between Princeton and Cambridge, according to the State Patrol. Killed was Matthew Stuart, 36, of Isanti.
Joseph R. Bollin, 46, of Princeton, was northbound on the two-lane highway in Bradford and towing a pickup truck when he went into the southbound lane and hit the oncoming motorcycle, the patrol said. Bollin was not injured.
