Remember Week 1, when Blaine Gabbert *almost* led the Jaguars to a comeback victory with his late heave to Cecil Shorts III (all-name team) against the Vikings? Regardless of the outcome, the storyline was how much Gabbert has improved. And, well, apparently (for now) that improvement only shows up against the Vikings.

The second-year QB reverted to rookie form Sunday against the Texans: 7 of 19, 53 yards. Passer rating: 62.8 after a 96.1 against the Vikings.

That mark against the purple remains his best as a starter. He topped 90 just once all of last season, finishing at a putrid 65.4.

Maybe he'll bounce back again and prove the Vikings game was no fluke. But would you put money on it at this point?
