JEFFREY TOOBIN

Age: 52.

Born and raised: In New York City, the son of television news correspondent Marlene Sanders and broadcast-news producer Jerome Toobin.

Family: Toobin and his wife, Amy McIntosh, have two college-aged children.

Education: Graduated from Harvard (where he wrote a sports column for the Crimson called "Inner Toobin") in 1982, and Harvard Law in 1986.

Career: Legal correspondent for the New Yorker since 1993 and for CNN since 2002. Considered the first TV legal analyst when hired by ABC in 1994. Was an assistant U.S. district attorney in Brooklyn in the early 1990s.
