We love lists, don't we? The latest is the richest lead singers in the world compiled by a website called Celebritynetworth.com.

No surprise that Paul McCartney ($800 million), Bono ($600 million), Jimmy Buffett ($400 million) and Elton John ($320 million) top the list.

As for our homeboys, Prince checks in at No. 9 ($250 million) and Bob Dylan ($80 million) at only 29.

Curiously, Sammy Hagar ($120 million) is worth three times as much as David Lee Roth ($40 million), his predecessor in Van Halen. Go figure.

The figures were acquired from "all publicly available information including salaries, real estate holdings, divorces, record sales, royalties and endorsements." Fees for taxes, managers, agents and "lifestyle" were deducted, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

The highest ranking woman is Gwen Stefani ($80) million) at No. 27, with Steve Nicks ($65 million) next at No. 36. Where's Madonna? Hello? How bout Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift? They all write songs, which Celebrity Net Worth says is a key.

Where's Paul Stanley of Kiss? Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top? Paul Simon? Billy Joel? Those icons have bands as much as Elton John does.

Oh, we could go on and on, especially when Scott Weiland sits at No. 58 (last on the list) at a mere $10 million.

But we do love lists.
