For "Bachelorette," the party's already started, and it's not even coming out until next Friday -- in theaters, that is. The indie comedy about three galpals out on a bender the night before another friend's wedding was released on video-on-demand (VOD) Aug. 10. It shot to the no. 1 spot on iTunes within two days, despite its $10 price tag, the first film to perform that well before it gets to theaters. Whether fueled by "Bridesmaids" fans champing at the bit to see a similarly themed film or people willing to shell out a little more to watch a spanking-new movie at home, its pre-big-screen success ensures more of these "ultra releases" in the future.
