On "Project Runway" (8 p.m. Thu., Lifetime) one day you're in, the next day you're out. But even in fashion, there's such a thing as a second chance. Raul Osorio of Minneapolis was eliminated from the fashion-focused competition, brought back to replace designers who dropped out, then eliminated again a few weeks later. We caught up with Osorio, who is back in town.

Q You were "auffed" twice. What happened?

A It's part of the game. At least I feel proud of what I made this time. ... I'd rather leave that way, showing who I am as a designer.

Q How did you handle getting kicked off the show a second time?

A I exploded -- and I'm glad that I did. I went crazy on national television. I wasn't thinking, "There are cameras," I was just being myself. Yeah, it's who I am. Maybe some anger management classes would help.

Q So who are you rooting for now?

A Christopher [Palu, of Massapequa, N.Y.] is the one that I'm rooting for. He's just so talented and has a great point of view.

Q Most of the Minnesota contestants were eliminated early. Why?

A It was very easy to criticize them, but the game is very hard. It's very difficult to be part of that show -- you're under so much pressure.

Q Ven doesn't like you at all.

A I think he's extremely talented, but he does the same thing over and over. It makes me think he's a one-trick pony. I'm showing diversity.

Q You seem to be very direct.

A People who follow my work know that if I don't like you, I tell you. I know who I am, I know my work. I'm not in the show for everyone to like me.

Q Did you wear your designs for the last show?

A Yes. I made the overalls I was wearing [for the red carpet challenge].

Q You've lived in California and Honduras, why did you choose to represent Minneapolis on the show?

A It has to be Minneapolis. It's not because I don't love Honduras, but I believe that Minneapolis has given me so much. My portfolio was built here. This is where I started my career, where people have been supporting me constantly. It's home to me.
