LOOKING LOST
The lowlights from Tsuyoshi Nishioka's Wednesday:
Second inning: Dives to stop grounder from Brent Lillibridge and tries to start a double play by flipping the ball to second with his glove. The flip goes in the wrong direction for an error.
Sixth inning: Loses a routine pop-up in the sun. Two batters later, he fields a grounder but throws high and wide to home plate, enabling pinch-runner Ezequiel Carrera to score.
Ninth inning: Grounds into a fielder's choice to end the game, finishing 0-for-12 for the three-game series.
