Plenty of you were outraged yesterday at Reggie Jackson's comments to Sports Illustrated -- namely that Kirby Puckett and Bert Blyleven don't belong in the Hall of Fame. A few of you noted that Reggie didn't exactly fare so well against that non-HOFer Bert. But just how bad was Reggie?

This bad.

Jackson had the most career plate appearances (140) of anyone against Blyleven. He compiled a .214 batting average, a .661 OPS and struck out 49 times in 131 official at-bats.

Blyleven's next-highest K total against ANY hitter: 27.

In short, against Bert, Reggie was a little worse than Jay Canizaro was vs. all of baseball.

But no, he doesn't belong next to Reggie in the Hall.
