A look at what Gophers head coaches earned in 2010-11 (total compensation does not include free use of a vehicle):

Note: The fringe benefits package (health insurance, retirement) is 33.3 percent of the base salary. Supplemental is compensation given but not included in figuring the fringe benefits package. Other generally refers to money received from running camps (some coaches, like John Anderson and J Robinson, keep camp income and are not paid by the U for it).  Bonus is compensation for meeting certain incentives.
