Forty musical acts will play the revived Stone Arch Bridge Festival June 15-17 along the Mississippi riverfront across from downtown Minneapolis.

As we reported in February, businessman Matt Mithun stepped in to save the festival after the death last year of its longtime godfather, Ira Heilicher. Mithun also stages the SoundTown fest at his new Somerset Amphitheater on the Apple River in Wisconsin.

In addition to three performance stages, the festival offers an art fair featuring more than 250 artists, plus a Father's Day Car Show. Admission is free.

Twin Cities scenemaker Stacy Schwartz is back to book this year's music. A Friday-night concert is being added this year at Water Power Park, act to be announced. Also TBA is a Saturday-night headliner.
