Mergers and acquisitions involving Minnesota companies that were announced in the past week.
2/27 Asset Recovery Corp. Arrow Electronics Inc. Arrow Electronics acquired a provider of electronics St. Paul Englewood, Colo. asset disposition services.2/28 Preferred Care Partners Inc. and UnitedHealth Group Inc. United Healthcare, a unit of UnitedHealth Group, Medica Healthcare Plans Inc. Minnetonka acquired two senior-focused health plans with operations Miami and Coral Gables, Fla. primarily in south and central Florida. The acquisitions will be treated as separate transactions.
2/28 Nu-Tek Salt LLC Khosla Ventures Khosla Ventures acquired a provider of reduced sodium Minnetonka Menlo Park, Calif. and salt replacement products.
2/29 LAI International Inc. RLJ Equity Partners LLC RLJ Equity Partners acquired an industrial machinery Minneapolis Bethesda, Md. manufacturer for $37.1 million in cash and debt.
2/29 Food Should Taste Good Inc. General Mills Inc. General Mills acquired a natural snack foods company Needham Heights, Mass. Golden Valley to expand its natural and organic products business.
3/1 Innovative Systems Inc. Coordinated Business Coordinated Business Systems acquired a provider of Pittsburgh Systems Ltd. of Minnesota computer programming services. Burnsville
3/1 Nexus Information Systems Navigation Capital Partners Navigation's Stratos platform acquired an IT provider Minnetonka Atlanta of visualization, storage and managed services.
