Wild-Dallas game preview

Preview: The Wild completes a grueling back-to-back in an arena it hasn't won inside in almost nine years. The Wild has the NHL's longest current winless streak in one arena. It is 0-10-5 in its past 15 games in Dallas. The Wild last won in Dallas on March 21, 2003, 3-2 in overtime (Manny Fernandez, 34 saves). The Wild's last regulation victory in Dallas was March 8, 2002.
Players to watch: G Matt Hackett may make his second NHL start. He is 16-13-4 this season with Houston. Hackett won his NHL debut Dec. 6 at San Jose in relief, then made 42 saves in his first NHL start Dec. 8 at Los Angeles. He set an NHL record for longest shutout streak to start a career (102:48). Stars LW Loui Eriksson has 22 points (6-16--22) in 22 games against the Wild. F Mike Ribeiro had eight points in eight games heading into Thursday's contest at Chicago. G Kari Lehtonen is expected to start. He made 33 saves in a 2-1 shootout victory Feb. 4.
Numbers: The Wild hasn't led in its past nine contests in Dallas (Feb. 6, 2007). ... The Wild is 4-1-2 in the second of back-to-backs. The Stars are 0-9-2 in such situations.
Injuries: Wild C Mikko Koivu (undisclosed), G Josh Harding (ill), D Mike Lundin (lower body), RW Carson McMillan (lower body), D Clayton Stoner (hip), LW/RW Pierre-Marc Bouchard (concussion) and LW Guillaume Latendresse (concussion) are out. Stars C Jamie Benn (leg) is questionable. LW Jake Dowell (upper body) and LW Brenden Morrow (neck/back/shoulder) are out.
