When Hannah Barnstable visited New Zealand, she fell in love with muesli, a chewy breakfast mix of grains, nuts, seeds and dried fruit. She returned to her job as an investment banker in New York City, but it wasn't the same.

So she moved home to Minnesota and founded Seven Sundays, which offers four mueslis: original New Zealand, ginger pear macadamia, vanilla cherry pecan and bircher. The stick-to-your-ribs muesli is made with no refined sugars or oils (unlike granola), and features Minnesota-grown grown grains, golden flax and honey. It's often served simply with milk or yogurt, although it can be cooked a few minutes with water to make a hot cereal.

The name, Seven Sundays, comes from Barnstable's belief that every morning should be spent like Sunday morning -- perhaps not always in time spent, but in the idea that breakfast is a time to be enjoyed. To find out more, go to www.sevensundays.com. KIM ODE
