Minnesota, North Carolina: Voters to decide on constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage.

Washington: Gay marriage bill has enough votes in legislature; Gov. Chris Gregoire, a Democrat, will sign.

Maryland: Gay marriage bill may pass in legislature; Gov. Martin O'Malley, a Democrat, will sign.

New Hampshire: Legislature is considering repeal of gay marriage law it passed in 2009.

New Jersey: Gay marriage bill has enough votes in legislature; Gov. Chris Christie, a Republican, will veto, saying voters should decide.

Maine: Voters to decide whether to approve gay marriage law after voting to ban it in 2009.
