Taj McWilliams-Franklin, 41, has decided to play for the Lynx again this summer.

She was one of the keys to the Lynx going 27-7 during the regular season in 2011 and then going 7-1 in the playoff en route to their first WNBA title. She was one of the team leaders on and off the court, setting a good example for the younger players.

Last Saturday she met with season tickets holders and on Monday afternoon she took part in a live chat with Lynx fans.

"My main reason for returning to loslynx," she wrote, "is the fact that they showed me an incredible amount of faith last year in signing me and trading away a younger stronger player."

The Lynx traded Nicky Anosike, their starting center for three years, to Washington for a first round draft choice.

"In this world, not many people believe in loyalty," McWilliams-Franklin said. "I am one of the few folks who repay kindness and loyalty with the same. Minnesota Lynx showed me an incredible amount of faith and i wanted to repay that faith with my own loyalty."
