- In Memoriam announcements may be placed by phone, fax, email, or by regular mail.
- Required information:
- Your phone number, name and address; date or dates to publish. Prepayment is required for all In Memoriams. For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, & American Express.
- Suggested format for an In Memoriam
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Date of Death
- A personal message, poem or remembrance, with a closing from the person or persons placing the memorial is very common. Ask about available emblems, borders and photo options.
- Adding a photo or graphic
- Electronic submission of photos and/or text may be emailed to paidobits@startribune.com — Photos should be high quality .JPG or .TIF format (minimum 200 dpi), preferably cropped in a square shape.
- A courier is available in the immediate metro area for photo pick–up Monday–Friday. Please call us at 612-673-4130 before 4 pm weekdays to arrange pick–up. Photos may be dropped off at 425 Portland Ave S. before 5 pm weekdays.
- Information on rates
- The cost for In Memoriams is $10.75 per line (3–line minimum) to publish one day in all editions. To publish the same notice additional days, the price is $6.50 per line per day. To have your In Memoriam posted online, it is $15.00 additional. Online memorials remain on our website for 30 days from date of publication.
