Chart: The latest on the NBA lockout
- November 1, 2011 - 11:15 PM
The latest: Owners and players haven't met in person since Friday, when nearly two weeks of promising negotiations broke apart because they ultimately couldn't agree how to split revenues. The owners propose a 50-50 split, the players held firm last week at 52.5 percent.
At stake: A complete 82-game season likely is gone after the NBA canceled games through Nov. 30. A nearly complete season still could be held if agreement is reached soon, but it'll take about a month -- ratification, free agency, training camp -- after a deal is made until the first regular-season games.
Did you know? The Timberwolves would have opened their season Wednesday night against Atlanta at Target Center.
